Bass Pro Shops because of the frustration of Johnny Morris due to the lack of tackle at local stores. He then started the first Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, Missouri. Today Bass Pro Shops mails catalogs all around the world and is the one for the America’s premier outdoor retailers. In addition to the Bass Pro shops online store, catalog Bass Pro Shops also has a chain of retail stores across America and Canada. Bass Pro Shops isn’t just a one stop fishing supplies shop there is also a selection of hunting, camping, nature gift, outdoor cooking and much much more.
What is the shipping policy?
All orders will be sent an order acknowledgement email. Once the order is shipped an email will be sent. The shipping confirmation will include the ship date, carrier and tracking number if order has a tracking included with the shipping method. The tracking number will not be active for 24 hours after shipment. Orders are either sent with United States Post Office or with Fed Ex SmartPost. Being sent with SmartPost means that your order will be sent with FedEx but then it will be delivered to the USPS facility closest to you and then it will be delivered to your residence by USPS.
What is the return policy?
Items purchased through the catalog or online may be returned to the catalog center or the store within 30 days or purchase. After 30 days items can be returned on an inspection basis only. Warranty varies from product to product and some products may be returned after 30 days depending on warranty. Some items that can be returned after 30 days are boots which have a one year warranty and all Bass Pro Shops brand rod also have a 1 year warranty. For shipping items back there is an invoice and on the back of the invoice there are instructions on the back on how to return your order. There is also a preprinted but not prepaid return label included in the order. You can then drop it off at a Fed Ex/UPS Ground or USPS where you can pay for shipping.
